“At the same time I moved to Fairbanks, I accepted a remote job and began working from my home. Working remotely, coupled with living in a city, made for a lonely start to my time in Alaska. Community has always been an important part of my life, but for several months, I struggled to find a community in Fairbanks – until I attended my first Rove Co meetup. In November of 2022, I attended my first Rove Co cross country ski meetup, and these meetups quickly became a part of my weekly routine. Not only did I meet like-minded people who share a similar passion for getting outdoors, but these meetups provided the motivation I needed to get outdoors during the deepest, harshest months of winter in Alaksa. Since last winter, I have developed an incredible network of friends through Rove Co and Rove Community has become an integral part of my life. For this reason, I love repping Rove Co’s apparel line.
