This meetup will take place on the Turnagain Arm trail starting at Rainbow Trailhead!

Meet at the Rainbow Trailhead located off mile 108 of the Seward Highway for beautiful hike in Chugach State Park. $5 parking pass can be purchased on site. This is considered a moderate hike with 1,263ft. elevation change. Please bring ice spikes and waterproof shoes since trails tend to be icy and slushy this time of year.

Trail Type: Generally considered a moderate route, it takes an average of 2 h 17 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking.

Dog Friendly: Yes, please keeps dog leashed in order to be courteous to others.

Distance: 3.4 mile to Windy Trailhead and back. Hike has 1,263 elevation change.
