Meet at Archangel valley in the parking lot (located off Hatcher Pass road, you will see a sign for the turnoff). There is a $5 day fee to park if you do not have annual pass, can pay at kiosk in parking lot. You will see a car with a Rove Co flag and a hot chocolate bar. We have a lot of fun hanging out after the ski and everyone is welcome to join in! Here is also where you want to sign in to be entered for our end of winter giveaway.
Remember that ALL skill levels are welcome and we have first time skiers at every event. This is a multi use trail so come to snowshoe or walk as well! This location is dog friendly.
The point of these meetups are to get outside, enjoy Alaska Winters, and build your outdoor community! You can rent skis from outdoor rec, REI, Backcountry Bike and Ski, and Trax also provide ski rentals.

Each meetup is free and we are fortunate to have so many trails for our recreational use. With that in mind, Rove Co will be raising funds during each meetup as a way for our community to support the volunteers in maintaining these trails.

The proceeds from this winters meetups will go to Alaska Skijoring and Pulk Association, Nordic Ski Club Fairbanks and Nordic Ski Association of Anchorage.
The option to donate is not in anyway meant to pressure or make those who join us feel obligated to do so. We look forward to you joining our meetups either way!
