Location TBD ⛷ We start skiing at 6 pm. We will meet in the parking lot. Rove Co will be setting up the after ski party in this parking lot at the back of a black F350 with a camper shell. You will see lights, a hot chocolate bar and a heater! We have a lot of fun hanging out after the ski and everyone is welcome to join in! Dogs welcome at dog friendly locations. Remember that ALL skill levels are welcome and we have first time skiers at every event. Bring a head lamp.
The point of these meetups are to get outside, enjoy Alaska Winters, and build your outdoor community! You can rent skis from outdoor rec (thursday-sunday) if you’re military. REI, Goldstream Sports and Trax also provide ski rentals. Dogs welcome at locations that are dog friendly. Location TBD the week before each event. These meetups will be happening biweekly through the winter!

Each meetup is free and we are fortunate to have so many trails for our recreational use. With that in mind, Rove Co will be raising funds during each meetup as a way for our community to support the volunteers in maintaining these trails.

The proceeds from this winters meetups will go to Alaska Skijoring and Pulk Association, Nordic Ski Club Fairbanks and Nordic Ski Association of Anchorage.
The option to donate is not in anyway meant to pressure or make those who join us feel obligated to do so. We look forward to you joining our meetups either way!
