Rove Co’s next XC ski meetup in the valley area will be on 12/22 Moose Range Main Motor and Liguini Loop. We will meet at the wendt trailhead. Search for this loop on AllTrails for getting GPS directions.
We start skiing at 6pm and will meet in the parking lot of our location. You will see a vehicle decorated with lights and a hot chocolate bar set up! This trail is dog friendly but there is high moose activity so leashed dogs are suggested. This trail is also walking friendly for those who want to come for the fun but not ski!
Remember that ALL skill levels and ages are welcome and we have first time skiers at every event. Bring a head lamp.
The point of these meetups are to get outside, enjoy Alaska Winters, and build your outdoor community! You can rent skis from Backcountry Bike and Ski.

Each meetup is free and we are fortunate to have so many trails for our recreational use. With that in mind, Rove Co will be raising funds during each meetup as a way for our community to support the volunteers in maintaining these trails.

The proceeds from this winters meetups will go to Alaska Skijoring and Pulk Association, Nordic Ski Club Fairbanks and Nordic Ski Association of Anchorage.
