This meetup will take place in Chugach State Park. We will hike the Peak 2 Trail which starts at the Rabbit Lake Trailhead.

Meet at the Rabbit Lake Trailhead for a beautiful hike in Chugach State Park. There is a $5 parking fee to gain access to the park which can be purchased on site. This is considered a more difficult hike due to the elevation gain and potential snow conditions. Be prepared for snow, ice, and mud. Trail Type: Generally considered a moderately challenging trail with 1,800 ft elevation gain and takes an average of 2 hrs 45 min to complete

Distance: 3.3 mile out and back trail.

Dog Friendly: Yes, please keeps dog leashed in order to be courteous to others.
