Come join in for one more AZ hike before Rove Co heads back to AK! We will attempt to conquer Safford Peak Via North Scenic Drive. The trail head is at a gravel parking lot just past Stardance Event Center. AllTrails will give you directions directly to the trailhead OR you can get directions to the Stardance Event Center (instead of turning left into the venue, continue straight on the dirt road and park in the gravel lot).

This is a sunset hike. The plan is to get to the top for sunset views and descend at night. Headlamps will be required. This trail is rated as difficult with loose gravel so bringing children is not recommended.

Please remember this is NOT a guided hike. You are responsible for bringing all proper gear to include amount of water needed and basic first aid supplies.
